Expect the unexpected was the slogan for this event, rather vague but it certainly suited the event.
The Ruin Bars of Budapest was the theme for the evening which displayed unusual artwork, random items hanging from the rafters and a mixture of old furniture/items you would expect to find in a grandparents loft. This attention to detail however did make the event stand out from any other student event we have had at Kinkell Byre and created the techno vibe that was perfect for the well known DJs Wankelmut & RJay Murphy.
Fantastic event and well done to the Szentek committee for organising such a great event.

“One could not simply pinpoint what was so remarkable about this event. Maybe it was Donald Trump’s face adorning toilet seats or the mix of makeshift rooms throughout Kinkell Byre that provided alternative vibes, attracting a wide range of party-goers. It was wild, it was wacky, and it worked.”
